Understanding how building envelopes perform over time
The thermal and hygrothermal behaviour of a building envelope has a direct impact on its durability and long-term performance. Partie 5 analyzes heat and moisture transfer to anticipate the risk of condensation, material deterioration and performance loss.
Partie 5 performs thermal and hygrothermal analyses to evaluate the behaviour of building envelope assemblies and better understand the mechanisms that influence their performance.

These studies assess surface temperatures, dew point conditions, condensation risk and the behaviour of materials under various operating conditions. They are particularly valuable for renovation, rehabilitation and heritage restoration projects, where a thorough understanding of the existing building envelope is essential.
Depending on the project's needs, our analyses combine in-situ monitoring using hygrothermal sensors with numerical simulations performed using WUFI Pro.
