Charles is a Mechanical Engineer and Senior Project Manager at Partie 5's Québec City office. His analytical approach and strong communication skills make him a trusted resource for complex forensic investigations and technically demanding projects.
Charles has developed a rigorous methodology combining in-service building performance monitoring with hygrothermal modelling using WUFI Pro to evaluate heat and moisture transfer through building envelope assemblies and assess their long-term durability.
Since the implementation of Québec's Bill 122, Charles has assessed the facade safety of approximately forty major buildings in the Québec City region. He has also contributed to the development of tailored repair and maintenance programs for these buildings.
An active speaker and instructor, Charles has presented at conferences organized by the AEMCQ and the CEBQ, and has delivered numerous professional training sessions for the Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ) on the performance and rehabilitation of mass masonry walls. He has also presented training on investigative methods for diagnosing window and glazing system failures and developing corrective solutions at the 2018 Windoor Conference.
